Hand Size Cotton Turkish Towel Pestemal with White Stripes on Indigo Blue

Hand size, indigo blue Turkish pestemal with white stripes. Woven of 100% cotton. It is natural, hygienic, highly permeable, antistatic, refractory, absorbent and does not irritate the skin due to being super soft. Suitable as a hand and face towel or can be used as towel for hair.

This product can also be used as set with a Turkish bath towel.

Pestemal primarily used as hammam towel in Anatolia. Sultans of the Ottoman dynasty were also wearing pestemal in the hammam. Pestemal is a handicraft. Throughout history this Turkish towel was produced by weaving on hand looms by women in Turkey's eastern Black Sea and Aegean regions. Our products are not factory-made. All the pestemals are produced by traditional methods in a respectful manner to its origin, woven on hand looms and vegetable dye is used.
